Bjinse van der Zwaag graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp in 1999. Since then, he has founded and led several companies in the cultural and technology sectors, always with a keen eye for sustainable growth and financial health.

In 2005, he co-founded eStockMusic.com, a platform where music producers could sell their music online. The platform was acquired by Getty Images in 2008. In this role, he gained experience in developing an idea into a working product with an international customer base.

Earlier, in 2003, he started Budgetcam, a rental company for photo and video equipment. Under his leadership, the company grew into an organization with eight stores in the Netherlands and 85 employees. In 2019, Budgetcam was sold to Kamera Express. During this period, the focus was mainly on building a strong team culture and growth through efficient business operations.

Since 2014, he has been active as founder and CEO of Booqable, a one-stop shop software for rental companies. They now employ 35 people and serve clients all over the world.

With his experience in both the arts and business sectors, and his background in music, he brings a combination of creativity and business acumen to his role as chairman of the board of Opera Spanga.

Bjinse was active at Opera Spanga from the age of 15 to 20, including as a lighting and director's assistant.

Eva is currently working as a business producer at the Amsterdams Andalusisch Orkest.
She worked as a freelance business producer at the Ud Festival, Zero Dance Theatre, Universiteit van Nederland and as interim business coordinator at Ulrike Quade Company. As a production manager, she worked at companies including Nationale Opera & Ballet, Theatergroep Goed Gezelschap, WAT WE DOEN, Silbersee, Raymi Sambo Maakt!, Karavaan Exceptionel, MusicalMakers Amsterdam, De PeerGrouP, Theatergroep Gajes & Theatergroep De Jonge Honden, Well Made Productions, De Zwolse Stadsproductie and not to be forgotten; Opera Spanga at Macbeth in 2016.

Johanna Bandstra

Johanna Bandstra was treasurer on the board of Opera Spanga from 2005 to 2012. From 2013 to 2020 she held the position of business manager at Opera Spanga. She will be financial controller from 2021. As an experienced tax advisor, she has worked for, among others, PWC Belastingadviseurs Leeuwarden, Moret Ernst & Young Heerenveen, Heerenveen Administration and Tax Consultancy and Propstra Accountantskantoor in Leeuwarden. Since 2011 Johanna Bandstra has worked for herself at Bandstra Advies in Rottum.

She has many years of experience in compiling annual accounts and income tax and corporate tax returns, sales tax returns and payroll administration. She also provides tax advice. Her work is built up from a learning situation to an experienced financial and tax force. Johanna Bandstra has held various board positions from 1995, in addition to Opera Spanga, including the Wereldwinkel Heerenveen, the Stichting Lokaal Belang Rottum and SC Heerenveen Women's Football. She is also committed to women's emancipation as an active member of the Vrouwenkamer Heerenveen and is a member of the Commerciële Club Zuid-Friesland, a network organization for entrepreneurs in South Friesland.
