Jelle Burggraaff

Jelle Burggraaff has been part of the management team of DutchCulture, the Dutch platform for international cultural cooperation, as Head of Mobility & Advice since 2021. His team consists of advisors who inform and advise the cultural and creative sector on residencies worldwide, European cooperation and funding opportunities, and mobility issues such as visa applications.

Previously, he served as Head of International Cultural Cooperation at Leeuwarden-Fryslân 2018, among other positions. From this role, he worked closely with Opera Spanga for the production of Aida in Valletta, besides Leeuwarden the other European Capital of Culture that year.

His further professional experience includes setting up Europe Commission-funded cultural education projects between educational institutions in Europe and advising cultural organizations on their internationalization strategy. In addition, he has been a member of the Expert Panel for the selection and monitoring of European Capitals of Culture 2020-2033 on behalf of the European Commission since 2020.

Jelle Burggraaff has a Master's degree in Euroculture: Europe in the Wider World and is convinced of the importance of international cooperation of countries, artists, cultural organizations and educational institutions to address current social issues. Traveling and immersing himself in other cultures, together with his love for the performing arts, is therefore one of his greatest passions.

Johanna Bandstra

Johanna Bandstra was treasurer on the board of Opera Spanga from 2005 to 2012. From 2013 to 2020 she held the position of business manager at Opera Spanga. She will be financial controller from 2021. As an experienced tax advisor, she has worked for, among others, PWC Belastingadviseurs Leeuwarden, Moret Ernst & Young Heerenveen, Heerenveen Administration and Tax Consultancy and Propstra Accountantskantoor in Leeuwarden. Since 2011 Johanna Bandstra has worked for herself at Bandstra Advies in Rottum.

She has many years of experience in compiling annual accounts and income tax and corporate tax returns, sales tax returns and payroll administration. She also provides tax advice. Her work is built up from a learning situation to an experienced financial and tax force. Johanna Bandstra has held various board positions from 1995, in addition to Opera Spanga, including the Wereldwinkel Heerenveen, the Stichting Lokaal Belang Rottum and SC Heerenveen Women's Football. She is also committed to women's emancipation as an active member of the Vrouwenkamer Heerenveen and is a member of the Commerciële Club Zuid-Friesland, a network organization for entrepreneurs in South Friesland.

Christel van de Kerkhoff

Christel worked from 1999 to 2020 in management and interim management positions in many different organizations, including in the financial sector, the NS, National Police, VU, but also in hospitals and industrial organizations such as NXP and Philips. She has a background in public administration but has worked in most of her positions and assignments on the interface between business management and ICT. Her expertise lies in guiding and implementing (organizational) changes. She has experience in positions as team leader, information manager, head of IT, department head, where the teams or departments always varied in size from the smallest team of 10 people to the largest department of 450 people. Getting people moving and working together in a changing organization and thus improving the performance of the organization is what she likes most about her job.

She has also lived and worked abroad for several years such as in Nepal, Pakistan and Thailand and has always traveled extensively, preferring adventurous camping trips in Africa. She has now seen her big dream come true and now spends a lot of time on the Frisian farm where she came to live with her husband a year ago.
