She has a background in public administration but has worked in most of her positions and assignments on the interface between business management and ICT. Her expertise lies in guiding and implementing (organizational) changes. She has experience in positions as team leader, information manager, head of IT, department head, where the teams or departments always varied in size from the smallest team of 10 people to the largest department of 450 people. Getting people moving and working together in a changing organization and thus improving the performance of the organization is what she likes most about her job.
She has also lived and worked abroad for several years such as in Nepal, Pakistan and Thailand and has always traveled extensively, preferring adventurous camping trips in Africa. She has now seen her big dream come true and now spends a lot of time on the Frisian farm where she came to live with her husband a year ago.
