The Foundation Spanga, the Verona of Weststellingwerf (OPERA SPANGA) has ANBI-status. This means that you can declare a monetary gift to Opera Spanga with the tax authorities. As of January 1, 2012 donors to cultural ANBIs receive an extra tax deduction. Private persons can deduct 1.25 times the amount of a donation to Opera Spanga on their tax returns. The daily running of Opera Spanga is the responsibility of artistic leader and producer Corina van Eijk. For this work she is remunerated with an annual salary, determined by the board of Opera Spanga. Opera Spanga has no employees. Collaborators on performances are paid as ZZP entities. Occasionally contributors also receive remuneration.
